The BSSC is concerned with the legislative and political aspect of the shooting sports, rather than their administration and organisation, so enquiries regarding shooting association membership or the availability of shooting clubs should be addressed to the appropriate Association. The National Small-bore Rifle Association is the governing body for target shooting with .22 rim-fire firearms, air rifles and air pistols
